Daniel Tiburcio is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, government relations, and policy development. Currently serving as Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Metrolinx since May 2019, Daniel has held various senior roles, including Senior Manager positions in Budget Planning and Corporate Finance. Previous experience includes key roles at the Ontario Ministry of Finance and the Treasury Board Secretariat, where Daniel led initiatives in policy intelligence and health expenditure management. Additionally, Daniel has served as Manager of Government Relations and Policy at The Hospital for Sick Children - Safe Kids Canada, focusing on public policy advocacy and research. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in International Political Economy from Western University, a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Political Science, and Philosophy from the University of Toronto Mississauga, and completion of the OPS Leadership Development Program at The Ivey Academy at Ivey Business School.
