Ian Brown CBE FCILT has extensive experience in the transportation sector, currently serving as a Member of the Rail Integration and Reform Board at Transport for Greater Manchester and as a Member of the Capital Oversight Committee at Metrolinx. As Senior Transportation Advisor at Passenger Transportation Systems International (PTSI) and Managing Director of IAN BROWN RAIL LIMITED since 2011, Ian specializes in international rail consultancy, handling various transport projects. Ian's previous roles include Board Member and Chairman at Greenwich Theatre, Advisor on surface transportation for the London Airports Commission, and Board Member for organizations such as Crossrail Ltd and the Abellio Group. Notably, Ian served as Managing Director of London Rail at Transport for London and as Chief Executive Officer of Docklands Light Railway Limited. Ian holds a BSc in Mathematics from The University of Manchester and attended business summer schools at MIT Sloan School of Management and OUBSS.
