James Burchell

Advisor - Community Engagement And Issues Management at Metrolinx

James Burchell is a seasoned community engagement and issues management professional with extensive experience in various organizational settings. Currently serving as an Advisor in the Communications and Public Affairs Division at Metrolinx since August 2018, Burchell focuses on Union Station Rail Corridor Community Relations. Additionally, Burchell has been an active Champion for the Scarborough Renewal School Challenge Initiative with Rotary International since 2014, promoting youth engagement in community issues. Burchell also holds leadership roles with the North Bendale Community Association and the Toronto Police Service, as well as past experience working as Executive Assistant to a City Councillor.
