Victor Cheng

Victor Cheng is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in transportation and engineering. Currently serving as the Manager of LRT Maintenance Assurance - Facilities at Metrolinx since May 2023, Victor has previously held roles including Senior Construction Inspector at the Toronto Transit Commission from December 2020 to June 2023, and Operating Agreements Officer at GO Transit from October 2018 to November 2019. Victor's tenure at GO Transit also included positions as Contract Compliance Officer for Signals and Project Coordinator. Early career experience includes serving as a Research Fellow at Metrolinx and an Assistant Transportation Planner at the City of Hamilton. Victor's foundation in the field began with a Master's degree in Engineering Design and a Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering, both from McMaster University.
