William Sherman

William Sherman is a Research Scientist at Metron, Inc. since October 2020, specializing in the development of mathematical models for scientific inquiries. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Irvine from September 2014 to July 2020, where responsibilities encompassed creating MATLAB codes for predictive models and conducting research in mathematical biology. William also held various teaching roles as a Teaching Assistant and Teaching Associate at UC Irvine and California State University, Northridge, facilitating courses in calculus, biomechanics, and algebra while providing students with essential support through grading, discussions, and office hours. William earned a PhD in Mathematical Biology from UC Irvine and holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, respectively, from California State University, Northridge.
