Austin Chen

Austin Chen worked as a Senior Android Developer at Metropia, Inc. starting in August 2018. Prior to this, they were a Technical Supervisor at HiTRUST Co., Ltd. from August 2015 to May 2018, where they were responsible for communication and gathering customer requirements, system analysis and architecture design, and mobile data and security solution plan and development. Before that, Austin was a Senior Software Engineer at Shuttle Co., Ltd. from March 2014 to August 2015, where they maintained sockets components for Windows, iOS, and Android, developed P2P communication across networks on Android, and provided troubleshooting support to the development team. From October 2013 to February 2014, they worked as a Trading Service Developer at Gracia Golden Eagle Securities Co., Ltd., maintaining transaction services and developing new features for automated quotation and transaction commission return systems for stock and futures exchanges. Austin also worked as a Senior Developer at Top Information Co., Ltd. from March 2011 to September 2013, where they integrated third-party devices such as ICCard, RFID, NFC, and Fingerprint recognition, developed components for web browser using technologies like Win32 API, ActiveX, Java Applet, and Mozilla Plugin, and served as an internal technical training instructor.
