Yury Parra

Yury Parra serves as the Medical Director of Partnership in Care at MetroPlusHealth since August 2025. Prior experience includes roles as a member of the HIVMA Clinical Fellowship Committee from October 2023 to July 2025, and Medical Director of Health Services at Harlem United. Yury Parra was also an Assistant Professor of Family and Social Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine from March 2019 to July 2025, and previously held positions at NYC Health + Hospitals as Director of Clinical Planning and Operations and Attending Physician. Yury Parra contributed as a Clinical Advisor for the NYC COVID-19 Test and Trace Corps and directed the HIV Fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center. Earlier roles include a Clinical Instructor at Sidney Kimmel Medical College. Academic qualifications include an MD from the University of Illinois Chicago, a BA in Biology from New York University, and ongoing studies at Harvard Business School.
