Antti Liljaniemi

Antti Liljaniemi has extensive experience in automation and electrical engineering, holding multiple roles at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences since 2006, including Senior Lecturer and Director of automation and environmental engineering degree programmes. Prior experience includes serving as a Project Manager at Etteplan, where Antti led automation and electrification projects, and as a Head Designer at Nextrom, focusing on SCADA product development. Antti's earlier career involved project engineering at Refimex, a diploma project at ABB, and traineeships in Switzerland and Germany. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in electrical/automation engineering from Tampere University of Technology, pedagogic studies at Haaga-Helia University, and ongoing doctoral studies in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Digital Twin at Aalto University.
