Jonna Tolonen

Jonna Tolonen is a postdoctoral researcher and artist currently involved in the "Artivism on the Edges" project at Koneen Säätiö, focusing on the intersections of art, activism, and gender-based violence. In addition to this role, Jonna serves as an instructor for Master's theses at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. Previous experience includes postdoctoral research at the University of Lapland and significant roles in media education at various institutions, including the Federation of the Finnish Media Industry, where Jonna managed major national projects. Jonna holds a Doctor of Arts degree from the University of Lapland and multiple qualifications in media and education from various institutions.
