Sam Lubell is an accomplished editor and writer, currently serving as Editor At Large and Executive Editor for Metropolis Magazine since August 2021. Lubell has been an author for Phaidon Press and Metropolis Books since July 2015 and contributes freelance work to The New York Times since July 2001. Previous roles include Contributing Editor and West Coast Editor at The Architect's Newspaper from January 2007 to July 2020, as well as Staff Writer at WIRED from September 2015 to August 2018. Lubell also held the position of News Editor at Architectural Record from May 2003 to May 2006. A graduate of Brown University, Lubell attended from 1994 to 1998.
