Peter Fisher

Co-Founder & CCO at Metropolis

Peter M. Fisher is an entrepreneur, investor and former financial services professional. He is the Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Metropolis Technologies, a start-up based in Los Angeles.

Prior to founding Metropolis, Peter worked in corporate management and financial services. Peter most recently served as an executive at Global Airtech, a privately-held aviation brokerage and fleet management company based in Los Angeles. In this role, he was responsible for the company’s strategic vision and helped lead the firm’s global business development opportunities.

Prior to Global Airtech, Peter was a Portfolio Manager and Senior Equity Analyst for a $30 billion growth equity team at Transamerica Investment Management. He held portfolio management responsibilities for the firm’s global growth equity fund. In 2006, Peter was promoted to a senior equity analyst and was responsible for overseeing the firm’s investments in Telecommunications, Media, and Technology (“TMT”) companies. During this time, the firm allocated more than $1 billion into Amazon, Google, Priceline, Netflix, and Disney.

Peter’s finance career started at WestCap Investors in 2003. WestCap was a boutique investment management firm that focused on growth equity investments. In 2004, WestCap was acquired by Transamerica Investment Management.

Mr. Fisher completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Boston College.
