Peter Williams

Peter Williams has extensive experience in the energy sector, particularly in contracts and project management. Beginning with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Birmingham, Peter held various roles, including Senior Industrial and Commercial Engineer at British Gas and Settlements and Contracts Manager at Powergen. As Director at PLW Utility Consultancy Ltd from 2009 to 2018, Peter provided expert advice on renewable energy and complex contract negotiations. In a freelance capacity for E.ON UK, Peter successfully project managed the contractual closure of over 40 significant district heating projects, generating £4 billion in revenue. Currently serving as Commercial Director at Metropolitan since May 2020, Peter is instrumental in driving the company's growth in the UK District Heating market.
