Micael Diaz de Rivera

Micael Diaz de Rivera is an experienced professional in user experience design and innovation, currently serving as the VP Head of User Experience Design and Research at Metrobank since January 2022. Prior to this role, Micael led various initiatives at Make Technology Inc. as Head of Innovation, facilitating design thinking workshops and supporting the development of an information security management system. Micael's expertise also includes significant positions such as Head of Design and Head of Operations at Make Technology Inc. and Experience Design Head at NuWorks Interactive Labs, Inc., where responsibilities spanned ideation, implementation, and optimization of design projects. Early career experience includes roles as User Experience Supervisor at OLX Philippines, enhancing usability through testing and analytics, and as a Developer at Sulit.com.ph. Micael holds an Executive Master in Business Administration from the Asian Institute of Management and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of the Philippines Los Baños.
