Norman Rainey

Norman Rainey, CPA has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Norman currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at Metropolitan Capital since December 2019. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at Parkway Bank & Trust Company from August 2018 to December 2019.

From 2016 to 2018, Norman worked at MB Financial Bank as the SVP of Mergers and Acquisitions, where they sourced new acquisitions and prepared analysis of acquisition opportunities in the banking and depository markets. Norman also maintained the company's complex long-range model.

Before that, they held multiple roles at First Midwest Bank from 2010 to 2016, including Vice President of Corporate Development and Vice President of Division Financial Officer for Credit Remediation. In these positions, they conducted research on target companies, led valuation and financial modeling of potential opportunities, and managed the internal non-performing asset valuation and disposition processes.

Norman started their career in 2000 at Ameritech as an Analyst, processing journal entries and handling financial data. Norman then worked as a Registered Representative at First Investors from 1999 to 2000.

Norman Rainey, CPA, holds an MBA with a concentration in Accounting from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, which they obtained from 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business with a major in Finance from Eastern Illinois University, which they completed from 1996 to 1999. In addition to their educational background, Norman Rainey has obtained a CPA certification from the state of Illinois.
