James Curry, CPA, MBA, CGMA has extensive experience in finance and accounting, with a focus on bank accounting and reporting. James is currently serving as the First Vice President and Financial Reporting Manager at Metropolitan Commercial Bank, where they are responsible for driving finance transformation and managing various reporting requirements. Prior to this, they worked as a Consultant at Resources Global Professionals, advising on the expansion of data and reporting functions within a financial institution. James has also held various senior positions at Morgan Stanley, where they established a global corporate control function for the lending business, advised on technical accounting matters, and led SEC and financial regulatory reporting. James'searlier experience includes roles at Deutsche Bank, The Fuji Bank, New York, Fidelity New York Savings Bank, and KPMG. James holds an MBA and is a certified public accountant (CPA) and a chartered global management accountant (CGMA).

James also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from NYU Stern School of Business. In addition, Curry has obtained certifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the New York State Education Department and as a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) from the AICPA. James has also completed additional certifications in fields such as Digital Mindset and Introduction to Machine Learning with KNIME.
