Lisa Oyler

Lisa Oyler is an experienced educator specializing in cybersecurity and networking. Currently serving as the Director of Training and Education at WiCyS Kansas City Metroplex since March 2024, Lisa also holds positions as a Cisco Networking Academy Instructor Trainer at META Solutions and an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Park University, teaching Cisco Networking Academy courses. Additionally, Lisa is a pedagogical expert for the KU GenCyber Camp, assisting in the delivery of cybersecurity content. With a long tenure at Metropolitan Community College-Kansas City, teaching various IT courses, and a previous role as an instructor at Lee's Summit R-7 School District, Lisa has made significant contributions to K-12 cybersecurity education, including participation in national standards development for K-12 Cybersecurity Education and feedback on cybersecurity frameworks. Lisa holds a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a Bachelor's degree in Business Education from the University of Central Missouri.
