Thomas A. Caron

Thomas A. Caron is an Associate Professor of Engineering at the College of the Ozarks since June 2020, specializing in industrial engineering topics. Additionally, Thomas serves as Engineering Faculty at Metropolitan Community College-Kansas City, teaching undergraduate engineering courses since January 2017. Prior experience includes working as a Wireless New Product Introduction Engineer at Alcatel-Lucent from April 2011 to December 2013, where support was provided for the introduction of new core switching equipment for Sprint's Network Vision Project. Thomas's earlier roles at Alcatel-Lucent and Bell Labs involved technical sales engineering and network applications engineering, including significant improvements in process efficiency and customer training. Thomas holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
