Metropolitan Council of the Twin Cities
Jeanne Landkamer began their work experience in 1988 at the Metropolitan Council of the Twin Cities, where they worked as an Editor/Writer. Jeanne wrote and edited various materials such as newsletter stories, press releases, policy plans, and research reports. Jeanne also took photographs and wrote the annual report. In 1995, they worked as a Children's Book Buyer at Baxter's Books until 1997 when they became a Communications Consultant at Landkamer Communications. In 1999, they joined the Adventure Learning Center at YMCA Camp Ihduhapi as a Ropes Course Facilitator, leading groups through team-building and outdoor climbing challenges. Finally, in 2005, Jeanne joined the Metropolitan Council as a Principal Communications Specialist, a role they continue to hold.
Jeanne Landkamer has a B.A. degree in English from St. Olaf College. Jeanne also attended the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities, but their degree name and field of study are unknown.

Metropolitan Council of the Twin Cities
The Metropolitan Council is the regional planning organization in the seven-county Twin Cities metropolitan area. We run the regional bus and light-rail system and Northstar commuter rail, collect and treat wastewater, coordinate regional water resources, plan regional parks, and administer funds that provide housing opportunities for low- and moderate-income families. Our board is appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the Governor.
