James Baldwin

James Baldwin has extensive work experience in financial management and accounting roles. James has been the Chief Financial Officer at Metropolitan Family Services since 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer at Haymarket Center from 2017 to 2020. James also held the position of Chief Accounting Officer at Heartland Alliance for Human Needs & Human Rights from 2013 to 2017, and as Controller at Heartland Human Care Services in 2013. James was a Peace Corps Volunteer from 2010 to 2012 and worked as Interim CFO at Community Alternatives Unlimited in 2010. Additionally, James worked as a Manager at BBD, LLP from 2009 to 2010, and as a Supervisor at Selden Fox, Ltd. from 2003 to 2009.

James Baldwin obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Augustana College, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. James then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance and Operations Management at Loyola University Chicago from 2005 to 2008. Additionally, in May 2008, they obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
