Megan Filipowski

Megan Filipowski has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Megan most recently worked as a Digital Services and Social Media Manager for the Metropolitan Library System of Oklahoma County starting in 2023. Prior to that, they held multiple positions at the Oklahoma City Dodgers, including Digital Marketing Manager, Digital Marketing Specialist, and Creative Services Copy Specialist. Megan also worked as a Substitute Teacher at EDUStaff, LLC in 2015. Megan has experience in the sports industry, having interned at the Detroit Tigers and Indianapolis Indians as a Media Relations Intern. Megan also served as an Indianapolis Indians Beat Writer & Website Manager for The Indiana Sports Report. In addition, they worked as a Publications/Communications Intern for the National Federation of State High School Associations. Megan's earlier experiences include working as a Temporary Sports Clerk for The Indianapolis Star and Bakery Clerk at Kroger. Megan was also actively involved in the student publication "The Pulse" at Spring Arbor University, serving as Editor-in-Chief, Student Assistant Sports Information Director, Managing Editor, SAU Online Student Worker, and Staff Writer. Throughout their career, Megan has demonstrated skills in digital marketing, social media management, content creation, copywriting, media relations, publication editing, and team collaboration.

Megan Filipowski completed their education with a Master's Degree in Sports Journalism from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis in the year 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Professional Writing from Spring Arbor University, starting in 2009 and graduating in 2013. Megan Filipowski's secondary education was attained at Edsel Ford High School, where they received a diploma in General Studies from 2005 to 2009.
