Jack Cotaling

Jack Cotaling has extensive experience in the performing arts and event management, currently serving as Associate Director of Special Events at the Metropolitan Opera since December 2019, after holding the position of Senior Coordinator of Special Events. Cotaling previously coordinated conferences and events at McGill University from August 2017 to December 2019 and has a rich background as an opera director, stage manager, and performer in a freelance capacity. Additionally, Cotaling contributed as an Advancement Events Assistant at the Schulich School of Music of McGill University and worked as a tour guide at the Motown Museum. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Opera and Voice from the Schulich School of Music and a Bachelor of Arts in Voice and Opera from Western Michigan University, along with studies at the American Institute of Musical Studies and Université Laval.
