Kate Avery

Kate Avery is an experienced professional currently serving as an Instructor at Pure Barre since January 2023. With a robust background in the performing arts, Kate has held multiple roles at the Metropolitan Opera since August 2016, including Rehearsal Department Manager, Rehearsal Administrator, and Rehearsal Associate. Prior experience includes working as an Operations Administrator at Dispeker Artists and as an Artistic Associate for the Four Seasons Chamber Music Festival. Additionally, Kate hosted a radio talk show at Inner Banks Media from February 2011 to August 2013. An accomplished musician, Kate holds a Master of Music in Piano Performance and a Certificate in Advanced Performance Studies from East Carolina University, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism and a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the same institution.
