Marsha Drummond

Marsha Drummond serves as the Director of Education at the Metropolitan Opera, overseeing educational initiatives for children and adults since August 2007. Previously, Marsha directed the interactive and educational department at WNET New York Public Media and managed community outreach projects that supported over 40 PBS stations. Marsha also served as the Associate Director for the National Teacher Training Institute, where local training focused on integrating media into classroom instruction for over 250 teachers. Marsha holds a Master of Arts in Creative Writing from The City University of New York and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Creative Writing from San Francisco State University.
