Ryan Wilson possesses extensive experience in landscape architecture and water resource management, currently serving as the Director at the Metropolitan Planning Council since December 2019. In this role, Ryan leads the development and implementation of the nation's first stormwater trading marketplace, StormStore™, in collaboration with The Nature Conservancy and the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago. Prior to this position, Ryan held various roles including Sr. Program Director at Greenprint Partners and Water Program Manager at Elevate. Additionally, Ryan has academic experience as adjunct faculty at the Illinois Institute of Technology and has founded a landscape architecture firm. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from The University of Georgia and a Postgraduate Certificate in Sustainable Social & Environmental Design from Archeworks.
