Rob Stringer is an experienced professional in electronic security and project management, currently serving as the Senior Facilities Manager for Electronic Security at the Metropolitan Police since March 2021. Previously, Rob worked at Atos as a Technical & Specialist Project Manager after transitioning from the Metropolitan Police, where Rob was recognized as a Subject Matter Expert and authored standards for structured cabling. Rob’s earlier career includes roles as an ICT Project Manager and Project Manager for Electronic Security at the Metropolitan Police, and as a Senior Project Engineer at Thales Telecom Services, managing teams and large-scale telecom projects. Rob’s career began in 1987 as an Installation Engineer for British Railways. Rob holds A Levels from Coopers Grammar School.
