Nina Motlagh is an accomplished attorney currently serving as a barrier reduction attorney at the Metropolitan Public Defender since April 2024, focusing on helping clients navigate challenges related to criminal records, poverty, and domestic violence. Previously, Nina held roles as an associate attorney at Baker Law Group, LLC, and as a deputy state public defender for the Colorado State Public Defender. Additional experience includes positions as a paralegal, teaching assistant, and clinical intern, with significant involvement in criminal defense and civil rights through various esteemed organizations, including the New York Law School Criminal Defense Clinic and the Legal Aid Society. Nina earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from New York Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience from UC San Diego.
