Amanda Rego

Amanda Rego serves as the Associate Head Coach for Men’s and Women’s Cross Country and Track at Metropolitan State University of Denver since July 2021, where responsibilities include training program development, recruiting, team travel planning, fundraising, and academic monitoring of student-athletes. Notable achievements include coaching NCAA qualifiers, a school record holder, and a top-20 nationally ranked women’s cross country team. Prior roles include Assistant Coach at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, Private Running Coach with CoachUp, and various coaching and training positions at YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region, Colorado College, and USA Track & Field. Amanda was also a professional runner for Hoka One One and Oiselle. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from Florida State University.
