Andy Schlichting

Andy Schlichting is an experienced marketing and communications professional with a strong background in higher education and athletics. Currently, Andy serves as the Director of Marketing and Communications for Advancement at Metropolitan State University of Denver, overseeing marketing, branding, and media efforts while enhancing fundraising communication. Previous roles include Proposal Coordinator at MYR Group, where Andy developed marketing materials for large-scale electrical construction projects, and Digital Content Manager at the University of Colorado Boulder, managing extensive social media accounts and multimedia content. Andy also has experience as a Communications/Sports Information Director at Metropolitan State University of Denver and as a Grad Assistant Sports Information Director at Southwest Minnesota State University. Andy holds a Master's degree in Education with a concentration in Sports Leadership and a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, with a minor in Business Administration.
