James Mejia

James Mejia serves as the Chief Strategy Officer at Metropolitan State University of Denver since November 2022, where responsibilities include coordinating the strategic plan and collaborating with university leadership. Prior experience includes serving as President and CEO of Mejia Associates, where business development and partnerships with state and local governments were prioritized. James has held leadership roles such as CEO of Denver Film and Managing Partner at Pan American Business Services, LLC, which focuses on market expansion and project completion for corporations and governmental entities. Additional roles include consulting and teaching positions, with a notable tenure as President and CEO of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Denver.
