Jeffrey Parker is a seasoned Theatre educator and professional with extensive experience in academia and the performing arts. Currently serving as a Professor of Theatre at Metropolitan State University of Denver since August 2014, Parker has advanced through the ranks from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor and now holds the top professorial title. Teaching a range of courses in Acting, Voice, and Musical Theatre, Parker also directs productions, coaches students, and develops curricula. Prior to MSU Denver, Parker held the position of Associate Professor of Theater Arts at Chattanooga State Technical Community College and worked as a Guest Artist/Dialect Coach at Ensemble Theatre of Chattanooga, contributing significantly to various productions. Educational credentials include an MFA in Theatre from UC Irvine and a BA in Theatre from UCLA.
