Shelley Thompson

Shelley Thompson serves as the Associate Vice President of University Advancement at Metropolitan State University of Denver since February 2022. Prior to this role, Thompson held the position of Director of Major Gifts at the Denver Health Foundation from December 2019 to February 2022. Earlier experience includes serving as Vice President of Development at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts and Group Chief Development Officer at Centura Health. Thompson also held the role of Executive Director at the Foundation for Colorado Community Colleges and was Director of Major Gifts at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics & Government from the University of Puget Sound.
