Beth Schaefer

Beth Schaefer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in workforce development and training. Since September 2014, Beth has served as the Director of the Institute for Professional Development at Metropolitan State University, where responsibilities include designing customized training for businesses, identifying client training needs, and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs. Prior to this role, Beth held positions at North Hennepin Community College, including Adjunct Business Faculty and Program Development Director for Professional Training & Development, focusing on curriculum design and coordination of training initiatives. Earlier experience includes a role as a Part-Time Training Facilitator with Minnesota Adult Basic Education, where Beth trained teaching staff and coordinated workshops on critical educational strategies. Beth earned a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Hamline University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and English from Gustavus Adolphus College.
