Melita D'Souza

Melita D'Souza has extensive experience in finance systems and project management. Melita most recently worked as the Head of Finance Systems & Projects at Metropolitan Thames Valley since 2019. Prior to that, they held the role of Process Improvement Manager at Metropolitan Housing Trust in London from 2017 to 2019. Melita also worked as a Senior Project Accountant at Centaur Media Plc from 2015 to 2017, and as a Systems Development Accountant at Metropolitan Housing Partnership from 2013 to 2015. Melita's earlier experience includes roles as Financial Controller at British Sky Broadcasting Limited from 2006 to 2013, and as Associate Director at Cushman & Wakefield from 2000 to 2006. Melita also worked as a Systems Accountant at Foster & Partners in 1999, and in various contractual positions from 1997 to 1999. Melita began their career as a Project Accountant at BBC in 1996.

Melita D'Souza completed their Master of Arts in Modern & Contemporary Literature from the University of London, Birkbeck College between 2018 and 2020. Prior to that, they obtained their Indian Certificate of Secondary Education from St Joseph's Convent. Melita also holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from the University of Mumbai. Additionally, Melita D'Souza has the certification of Associate Member from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
