Gwen Howard

Gwen Howard has served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Metropolitan Utilities District since January 2015, following a notable tenure as a State Senator for the Nebraska Legislature from January 2005 to December 2012. Prior to that, Gwen Howard worked with the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services for over three decades as a social worker and adoption specialist. Gwen Howard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and Psychology from Midland University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
