Tracey Christensen, APR, is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in various sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Communications at Metropolitan Utilities District since February 2002, Tracey specializes in media relations, crisis communications, employee communications, community outreach, and customer communications, along with skills in publication design, writing, editing, photography, website content management, and event planning. Prior roles include Corporate Communicator at Nebraska Public Power District, where responsibilities encompassed strategic communications and public information for nuclear plant emergency drills, and Director of Employee Communications at NorthWestern Energy, focusing on publication design and event planning. Tracey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism with an Advertising Comprehensive emphasis from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
