Katie Slade

Katie Slade is an accomplished Emergency Veterinarian with extensive experience in veterinary medicine. Since March 2020, Katie has been working at Metropolitan Veterinary Associates, and prior to that, Katie held the same position at the Veterinary Specialty Center of Delaware from January 2019 to March 2020 and at the Veterinary Emergency & Referral Group from June 2015 to January 2019. Katie earned a Veterinary Medicine degree (VMD) from The University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, where studies took place from August 2011 to May 2015. Earlier in Katie's career, research experience was gained as a Research Assistant at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia from September 2009 to June 2011. Katie also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cell and Molecular Biology from Skidmore College, completed in 2009.
