Dan Sheehan currently serves as the Transportation Program Operations Manager at the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments, a position held since May 2018. Prior to this role, Dan was the Transportation Demand Management Planner at the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission from August 2013 to April 2018, where key achievements included leading the statewide launch of the “Gohio Commute” program. Dan also has experience as a Housing Assistant, managing various housing programs and engaging in community outreach, as well as serving as an Intern in Planning & Development for the City of Clayton. Earlier experience includes a Housing Intern role at the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission, where multiple urban rehabilitation projects were assisted. Dan holds a Master of Arts in Public Policy & Management and a Bachelor of Science in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning, both from The Ohio State University.
