Scott Boggs

Scott Boggs currently serves as the Managing Director for Homeland Security and Public Safety at the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments since 2017, overseeing regional programs and administrative services in collaboration with various stakeholders. Prior to this role, Scott held the position of Battalion Chief at Prince William County from March 2010 to January 2017, managing emergency services and major program areas. Scott's career with Prince William County Department of Fire and Rescue spanned from June 1990 to March 2010, where roles included Captain, Lieutenant, and Technician, focusing on operations, training, and project management. Additionally, Scott served as an instructor at George Washington University from 1994 to 1998. Scott holds a Master’s degree in Information Assurance, a Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, and an Associate's degree in Computer Programming, all from Stratford University.
