Heather C. Beatty

Heather C. Beatty is an accomplished attorney with extensive experience in litigation, labor and employment law, and governance. Currently serving as Assistant General Counsel at the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California since February 2008, Heather engages in diverse legal areas including ethics and technology. Previously, Heather held the position of Senior Deputy General Counsel, also within the same organization. Before joining the Metropolitan Water District, Heather was a Partner at Bingham McCutchen from 1998 to 2008, where responsibilities included serving as the Los Angeles Hiring Partner and providing counsel in litigation and labor matters. Heather earned a Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
