Jinny Huang-Uy

Jinny Huang-Uy currently works at the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California in the Value Engineering Program as part of the Technical Control Team since November 2023. Previously, from July 2013 to November 2023, Jinny served as the Manager of Engineering for the Pipeline Infrastructure Division at Long Beach Water Department, overseeing the renewal and replacement of extensive water and sewer infrastructure. Additional roles at Long Beach Water included Senior Program Manager, managing capital improvement projects, and Senior Civil Engineer at MWH, focusing on hydraulic modeling and water resources planning. Jinny began a career in water management with a student worker position at the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts in 2003. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from Stanford University, a Master of Public Administration from California State University, Long Beach, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from UCLA.
