Mauricio Santos

Mauricio Santos is an experienced engineer currently employed at the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California since January 2020. Prior to this role, Santos served as a Sanitary Engineer at the State Water Resources Control Board from August 2012 to January 2020. Early career experience includes positions as a Project Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, a Water/Wastewater Intern at HDR, and an Environmental Quality Intern at Golden State Water Company. Santos began their professional journey as a Corporal Quality Control Inspector in the United States Marine Corps, where responsibilities included managing equipment and ensuring personnel safety.
