MERR is a retail brokerage firm whose focus is on everything retail. From ground up shopping centers to mixed use developments and downtown retail viability, getting the retail right takes a special touch.

MERR’s Principal, Christine Firstenberg has represented both landlords and tenants in thousands of real estate transactions. A short list of representative clients is below:

Kohls Department Stores, Costco, Target, Walmart, Andronicos Markets, Safeway, Stein Mart, Office Depot, Crow Family Holdings, Pacific Development Group, AMC Theatres, Century Theatres, Catellus, Starwood Retail Partners, The Sobrato Organization, and Regency Centers

MERR’s focus of “getting the retail right” includes making certain zoning works for each and every tenant before time and money is invested. And being certain that the retail space in mixed use and downtown developments has the proper designs by which the retailer can maximize its sales. Unlike other real estate categories, retail is the only category that places the success of a business on its location.
