CJ Godfrey

Vice President, PKPD Sciences at Metrum Research Group

CJ Godfrey has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. They began their career as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative at Eli Lilly in 1991. After that, they worked as a Staff Pharmacist at the University of Connecticut until 1999.

In 2000, CJ Godfrey joined Vertex Pharmaceuticals as a Clinical Pharmacologist, progressing to the role of Senior Pharmacometrician and later, Associate Director of Clinical Pharmacology. In 2006, they moved to Anoixis Corporation, where they served as the Director of Pharmacometrics and Operations, and later as the Senior Director of Pharmacometrics.

In 2013, CJ Godfrey joined Metrum Research Group, initially as the Principal Scientist II and Group Lead of PK/PD Modeling & Simulation. They later became the Principal Scientist II and Director of MetroBoston, and subsequently the Senior Principal Scientist and Group Leader of Strategic Decision Sciences. In 2020, they took on the role of Senior Principal Scientist and Group Leader of Clinical Pharmacology, before being promoted to Vice President of Quantitative Sciences and Strategic Business Development in 2022. Currently, CJ Godfrey holds the position of Vice President of PKPD Sciences at Metrum Research Group.

Throughout their career, CJ Godfrey has gained extensive experience in various areas such as pharmacometrics, clinical pharmacology, and strategic decision sciences.

CJ Godfrey completed a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy at the University of Connecticut from 1986 to 1991. Later, from 1994 to 2001, CJ pursued a PhD in Pharmaceutical Science from the same institution.
