Katharina Wilkins has extensive work experience in the field of research and scientific analysis. Katharina is currently working as a Group Leader and Principal Scientist I at Metrum Research Group since April 2023. Prior to this role, they were a Principal Scientist I at the same company from December 2022 to April 2023. Before joining Metrum Research Group, they worked at Applied BioMath from 2015. Katharina Wilkins obtained their PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2003 to 2008. Prior to that, they received a Diplome in Biotechnology from Ecole Superieure de Biotechnologie de Strasbourg, studying from 1999 to 2002. Katharina also earned a Vordiplom in Process Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 1997 to 1999.

In terms of additional certifications, Katharina Wilkins has completed several online courses. Katharina obtained a certificate for "Getting Started with R Programming" from Coursera in February 2021. In August 2018, they completed the "Deep Learning Specialization," "Sequence Models," "Convolutional Neural Networks," "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization," and "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" courses from Coursera. Furthermore, they obtained a certificate for "Biological Diversity (Theories, Measures and Data sampling techniques)" from Coursera Course Certificates in December 2016. Additionally, Katharina Wilkins has a verified certificate for the "Fundamentals of Immunology, Part 2" from edX, although the month and year of completion are not provided.
