Saad Karim

Saad Karim has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Saad currently works as a Senior Solutions Engineer II at Metrum Research Group, a position they have held since March 2021. Prior to that, they were employed at IBM for ten years, starting in November 2011. At IBM, they held various positions, including Advisory Software Engineer for the IBM Blockchain Platform, Staff Software Engineer for Hyperledger Fabric CA, and Software Engineer for Business Process Manager. Before joining IBM, Saad worked as an Associate Quality Assurance Engineer at Fidelity Investments from January 2011 to October 2011. Saad also interned as a Systems Engineer at Raytheon from June 2010 to August 2010.

Saad Karim completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering at North Carolina State University from 2007 to 2010. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Analytics at the same university from 2015 to 2016. In terms of certifications, Saad obtained several from SAS, including SAS Certified Advanced Programmer for SAS 9 in January 2016, Predictive Modeler Using SAS Enterprise Miner 13 in December 2015, and SAS Certified Statistical Business Analyst Using SAS 9: Regression and Modeling in October 2015. Additionally, they obtained the SAS Base Programming for SAS 9 certification in August 2015. Saad also obtained the Google Analytics Individual Qualification from Google in December 2015.
