Markku Aspelund

Markku Aspelund has extensive experience in the sales and marketing sector, currently serving as Sales Director for Food Service Boards at Metsä Board since January 2003 and previously managing Sales for the Asia Pacific Region & Japan at Metsä Board Hong Kong Ltd. Prior to his roles at Metsä Board, Markku Aspelund held the position of Director for Global Accounts at M-real Consumer Packaging, and served as Director of Business Development at M-real Corporation. Earlier experience includes being Business Area Manager for Graphical Paperboard & Merchant Distribution at Metsä-Serla Corporation and Sales Manager at Finnboard. Markku Aspelund holds a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration with a focus on International Business and Business Law from Turku School of Economics, completed between 1981 and 1986.
