Pasi Nevalainen

Pasi Nevalainen is an experienced maintenance and service management professional with a strong background in the pulp and paper industry. Currently serving as Maintenance Manager at Metsä Board since July 2023, Pasi oversees mill-wide maintenance management, maintenance investments, and supplier contracts. Previously, Pasi held various positions at Valmet from 2013 to 2023, including Service Agreement Manager, Development Manager, Project Manager, and Maintenance Development Manager, focusing on service agreements, new mill developments, and maintenance optimization. Earlier career roles include Mill Maintenance Mechanical Superintendent at Metsä Board, Development Engineer at Metso, and Mill Maintenance Supervisor at M-real Oyj, alongside foundational roles in maintenance and operations. Pasi holds a B.Sc. in Machine Technology from JAMK University of Applied Sciences, completed in 2004.
