Brian D. Berger

Brian D. Berger, P.E. serves as the VP and Head of the Thickener and Clarifiers Product Group at Metso since July 2020, following the company's name change from Metso Outotec in May 2023. Previously, Brian held various leadership roles at Outotec from October 2008 to July 2020, including VP of the Grinding Business Line and Technical Product Manager. Prior experience includes project management at Fuhrmann Engineering Services and roles as a bartender, laboratory assistant, and service technician. Brian earned a BS in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and has pursued leadership training through the Outotec Global Leaders Forum and Harvard Business School Executive Education programs.
