Fábio Samarra is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical and project engineering, particularly in the mining and cement sectors. Currently serving as Chief Engineer in the Global Project Engineering team at Metso since April 2022, Fábio provides engineering and technical support for the GBP business unit focused on Bulk Equipment. Prior to Metso, Fábio worked at FLSmidth as a Project Engineer, and held a significant role as Project Coordinator at Bardella S/A, leading teams in engineering projects for various industrial applications. Fábio's career includes roles as a manufacturing engineer in Oil & Gas projects, specializing in structural calculations and developing innovative solutions. Fábio began the professional journey at FEC UNICAMP in research and development, now boasting a Master’s degree in Metal Structures and an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas.
