Gonzalo Chirinos - MSc is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the mining and industrial technologies sectors. Currently serving as the Senior Product Manager for the Americas at Metso since May 2023, Gonzalo provides commercial support for automation and filtration products aimed at helping clients in the mining industry achieve Net Zero goals with advanced technologies. Previously, Gonzalo held the position of Business Development Manager at ANDRITZ, focusing on the automation portfolio in North America, and at CARBO, where the role involved market development for ceramic products in mineral processing across multiple regions. With prior experience at Outotec as a Customer Support Engineer and Service Account Manager, as well as technical roles at Larox, ABB, and Southern Peru Copper Corporation, Gonzalo possesses a robust background in engineering, customer support, and process control. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Globalization - Global Technology Management from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National University of Engineering.
